A seven-year-old Illinois girl is dead after drowning in a pool at the Polynesian Hotel in Wisconsin Dells. She has been identifed as Megan Godoy.
The girl was found shortly after five o'clock on Thursday by a hotel employee. She was motionless at the bottom of a five foot deep pool. The girl was pulled from the water, C.P.R. was started, and E.M.S. was called.
She was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Reports say there was a lifeguard on duty at the time of the incident.
