Local Legislator Undergoes Surgery
A state lawmaker is in intensive care at a Madison hospital Wednesday after undergoing heart bypass surgery.
An aide to 54-year-old Madison Democrat Terese Berceau
says there were no complications with the single bypass surgery.
Doctors say a recently discovered arterial blockage was caused
by scar tissue from radiation treatments for Hodgkins disease six
years ago.
