A man accused of murder, sexual assault and kidnapping has pleaded no contest to a series of charges against him.
Bennie Frier made that plea this morning in Dane County Circuit Court. Frier and Maurice Mason are accused of kidnapping a Nebraska woman, and murdering her in Middleton.
They were also accused of the murder of a Baraboo man, and the kidnapping of a Mauston man, who they left tied up in a shed for six days.
Frier pleaded no contest to second degree sexual assault, first degree reckless homicide, kidnapping and reckless injury.
The judge could give Frier more than 100 years in prison at sentencing.
