There's a big difference between Thomas' age, 5 and a half, and his ambition to raise $1,000 with his summer lemonade stand.
Today the local little one continues his quest to quench and to help the hungry.
"The money goes to the food pantry for the food, so we can produce food!" Thomas explains.
With his cookie and lemonade stand, young Mister Mulholland continues his lifelong legacy of reaching out on behalf of the Middleton Outreach Ministries food pantry.
"They're low on food in the summer and I think that it would also just be nice!" he continues.
"He finds a lot of joy in helping people, and I try to stay out of his way and nurture that," says Thomas' mother, Cindy Liu, who explains her son has been encouraged to continue helping by continued need along with the reactions he received as host of two stands last summer when he raised $200.
"He didn't wanna stop, he was so excited to see the progress and to see what was happening, and to see that he could this, that he could hardly wait for summer this year."
Thomas has plans to host a lemonade stand every third Thursday throughout the rest of the summer.
Dieterich Gruen is the Executive Director of M.O.M.
He says, "This is a guy who has set it up month to month, there's no quit in him. If he keeps it up, we're gonna have to go get a sign permit and run it like a business!"
All the while maintaining his focus.
"My favorite part is, is helping people."
If you're interested in helping Thomas out you can stop by his Hubbard Street stand on the third Thursday of each month or simply call 608-826-3404.
