A 55-year-old Madison man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend has his initial appearance.
Walter Fudge was in Dane County Circuit Court on Wednesday. He is charged with first degree intentional homicide. Twenty-seven-year-old Tina Campbell was found dead in her home inside an apartment complex on Fordem Avenue this weekend. Investigators say she died from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police immediately began looking for Fudge who turned himself in early Sunday morning.
Bond was set at $40,000 during Wednesday's hearing. Fudge will have a preliminary hearing in a couple of weeks.
