A Madison man is charged with theft after he was caught taking stuff from a mailbox.
A woman looked out the window of her west side home and saw a man in an SUV pull up to her mailbox. Less than an hour later her husband went to the bank to cancel the checks that were in the mailbox when he saw the SUV there.
Police then arrested 27-year-old John Rasch. He is facing two counts of theft, and a charge of violating his probation.
