Families stroll through the Henry Vilas zoo to help less fortunate families at the AAA Strollerthon.

Parents wheeled their kids over a mile to help raise money for child car and booster seats for Madison families with kids.

AAA emphasizes the importance of young children being properly restrained. Michael Bie says, "We've made a lot of progress in making sure more kids are seated in child passenger safety seats; however, there is a terrific need for folks to be aware that children between the ages of four and eight still need to be in a booster seat."

Organizers say this year's event was a success and are already looking forward to next year. Their plans include a partnership with the Madison Area Urban League, Safe Kids and Hertz. Their goal is to get as many kids in safety seats as possible.
