Two brothers are behind bars after allegedly opening fire on Iowa County Sheriff's Deputies.
The deputies were on drug surveillance when they say the brothers, 19–year old Jacob Wallenkamp, and 23–year old Jason Wallenkamp, who were carrying guns in the Town of Arena, near Mazomanie... allegedly fired several shots in the direction of the officers.
One of the brothers took off in a car, he was arrested after a short struggle... the second brother was arrested at the scene where the shots were fired.
The Iowa County Sheriff says the brothers are facing tentative charges of recklessly endangering safety.
The sheriff's department says the Wallenkamp brothers were not the subjects of the original drug surveillance.
