Dozens of fire crews remain on the scene of an enormous tire fire.
It broke out just before ten Tuesday morning near Watertown.
Emergency Management says 95 percent of the fire is now contained.
"The fire has now been contained to just the tires on the property, as of our last update approximately six acres has burned," says Jennifer Warmke from Dodge Co. Emergency Management.
That is on a 12 acre property where Watertown Tire Recyclers is located.
Earlier Tuesday, all outdoor activities in Watertown were cancelled because of health concerns surrounding this thick plume of smoke.
After some tests, the health department does not feel there is much of a risk.
"Under current conditions we are not concerned about outdoor activities within the town," says Rob Thiboldeaux, from Dept. of Public Health. "Sensitive individuals that have respiratory problems should be aware that they may be affected if conditions change."
Smoke from the fire could be seen from Madison to Milwaukee. The fire was so big, at its height, it could even be seen from space.
