If you live on Madison's west side you can go back to watering your lawn.
A power outage at a pumping station prompted the city to request water restriction on homes west of Whitney Way and north of Raymond Road.
Madison Water Utility says since yesterday's request they have seen a drop in water usage by nearly seven and a half million gallons, or 15 percent since Monday.
Wednesday's rain also reduced pressure on the system.
