25 year-old Lavinia M. Mull is charged with three counts of delivering heroin, and first degree reckless homicide in the death of Sarah Stellner.
Mull also faces two counts of bail jumping.
20 year old Stellner died of an apparent overdose on April 26, 2005. Her body was found in her apartment on the UW campus.
Monday afternoon, 25 year old Lavinia Mull was charged in Dane County Circuit Court. The investigation took three months, but prosecutors think they have a strong case.
"It appears there is a very strong case," says Jason Hanson, of the Dane County District Attorney's office. "I don't think proof should be particularly difficult for the state, and that also suggests that there is an enhanced likelihood or incentive to flee."
No future court date of Mull has been set yet.
