Insurance claims in south–central Wisconsin also keep rising.
A spokesman for American Family Insurance says it has had more than $10 million in claims, and American Family expects that figure to increase.
The insurance payments cover everything from food and hotel bills to the total cost of several homes that were ripped entirely from the foundation.
American Family insures about one of every four homes in the state.
