A Badger linebacker is accused of using a debit card he found. Jammar Crane is charged with misdemeanor fraud. Prosecutors say
he made $900 in purchases on the card.
A criminal complaint says a student left his wallet at a friend's house in Madison and didn't pick it up right away because he thought it was safe. Shortly after, he got a bank statement that showed a negative balance and discovered his card was missing.
Madison police detectives got the times and locations of the
purchases on the account, then checked video surveillance at the
stores, leading to Crane's arrest.
