I agree! I drive to Sun Prairie every day and sometimes in the glare of the sun it's very difficult to see bikers- especially when they are riding 2 or 3 abreast. These are rural roads that do not accomodate bikers- maybe stick to the roads that have a bike lane. I understand that we have to "make room for bikers", but they also have to be aware that sometimes they are endangering themselves.

I'm suprised more bikes don't get swiped by cars on purpose. Especially those on highways that ride 3 abreast. Whatever happened to all the bike trails my taxes paid for? I've never even seen a bike on them. They're all on KP where the curves are dangerous enough without bikes taking up the whole road.

I am suprised this doesn't happen more often. Half the drivers in Madison don't know what they're doing (this includes many bicyclists). No turn signals, cutting across lanes because they don't know where they're going (they could go around the block), speeding up to pass on the right, etc. MPD could easily waste most of their time writing tickets.
