Press Release from the Beloit Police Department:
On Monday, December 4, 2012, the Rock County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team executed a drug search warrant at 1102 Sixth St. Beloit, WI. The search warrant was the result of an investigation conducted by the Rock County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit (SIU). After the occupants of the residence were in custody, SIU deputies from the Sheriff’s Office and Edgerton PD, along with GROC officers from the Sheriff’s Office, Beloit PD and FBI, conducted a search of the residence. Located during the search was 136g of THC, 20 acetaminophen with codeine tablets, drug paraphernalia and $650.00 in cash.
The two occupants of the house were identified as Demetrious D. Broadwater and LaShawn D. Figgins. Broadwater and Figgins were both arrested on the charges below and held at the Rock County Jail. They are both scheduled for Jail Intake Court on December 5, 2012 at 4:00 p.m.
