Their name is known across the country and is getting more popular by the day.
As the organic food movement gains momentum so too does the business community of one small city tucked away in Southwestern Wisconsin.
It has all the makings of your average county fair but as the people of La Farge will tell you, there's something special cooking here.
Organic Farmer Zach Biermann says, "It's a good opportunity to know and learn where your food comes from and it's right here in Wisconsin."
From their humble beginnings in an old creamery to a new building and a new co-op of 12-hundred farmers in 34 states, Organic Valley has always called the small city of La Farge home.
Founding Farmer George Siemon says, "The farmers did not want to be like other big corporations and leave their roots so we built these headquarters here and it's a wonderful place to be."
A lot has changed over the last 20 years. One thing that has not are the methods, right down to the basics.
From the field, to the feed and all the way to your plate, organic is all natural.
Organic Farmer Jake Wedeberg says, " It's a more sustainable way to produce fuel on a farm."
Siemon says, "The things we all believe in like sustainability and taking care of the earth are all very in right now."
It is a method and a business that continues to grow, with some of the biggest movers and shakers nestled away in this city of 700 people.
Siemon says, "It's very rewarding to all of us."
It's a reward for an entire community.
Organic Valley's 20th anniversary is taking center stage at the Kickapoo County fair throughout the weekend.
