GREEN LAKE, Wis. (AP) -- A Berlin photographer convicted of secretly videotaping models and pageant contestants as they disrobed in the bathroom of his home studio has been sentenced to two years in jail.

Forty-eight-year-old Clayton Weiss was convicted on 10 counts of capturing nude images and one count of invasion of privacy with the use of a surveillance device.

Investigators say he hired the women for bogus advertisements.

Weiss hid video cameras behind vents in his bathroom, using multiple cameras to shoot the women between 2002 and 2007.

Lana, are you suggesting this type of activity become legal? This guy needs to be held accountable for his actions. Some people may have to view it (DA and Judge) but at least this guy is doen taking advantage of young females. You post seeme somewhat odd considering the circumstances of this case. You claim they will sue.....chances are this type of guy does not have much money. This is not a civil case at this point but a criminal case. Police and the judges obviously will not make copies, but if they did I would expect consequences for them also. Sometimes you have to trust people. There are always some bad apples but the majority of cops are good people. I am sure this will be stored in evidence for years and years, and after the court case no one will ever have to view it again!

Or, Lana has a little bit of a trust issue. Not everyone is as sick as this guy that made the videos. Relax!

OK, but who watches the watchers? I mean, if the police, who may or may not have, gathered up the recordings, and had to look at them for evidentiary purposes to see what they showed, and who the victims were... who watches them, and the folks in the D.A. office, and the defense attorney's office, and the judge's staff to make sure these pervs aren't wearing out the rewind/ play buttons on their players? And Whoooo made sure no copies were made when these images, if any, were checked out from the evidence room, if any? Just trying to avoid claims of another conspiracy by some individual not satisfied with the court findings in the case, so they are going to sue, sue, sue until they get $$ or some press time.
