A renewed call for more help from the public in the case of a murdered UW Madison student.

The mother of Brittany Zimmermann tells NBC 15's Dana Brueck the family is "begging" for people to come forward with any possible information.

Jean Zimmermann's 21-year-old daughter, Brittany, was found murdered in her West Doty Street apartment the afternoon of April 2nd. The Zimmermanns have established a reward fund in hopes it will help solve the case. Jean Zimmermann says it has grown to more than 10-thousand dollars.

Dont you people "shame on me" and talk to me about Karma. I have done more to help people in my life then most of you ever will. I have the right to express my opinion. The Zimmermans dont have a killer behind bars and they are going through the anger phase of the loss of their daughter. But there is no reason to take out their anger on people who dont deserve it. They need counseling...like any family should have after a murder. And if it were my family member murdered, I would do what ever the police needed me to to help them, but I would do nothing to hinder them. I know how police investigations work, and I know it takes time to gather evidence. Id much rather have it done with meticulous care than have it done quickly to appease a pushy family only to have the evidence thrown out by a technicality. Remember OJ! Bad evidence and a good lawyer got him off.
