How much does your Facebook account really tell people about you?
For most of us Facebook is a way to keep in contact with our friends.
For crooks, it's another tool they can use to get into your pocket.
" It was fun. There was different groups you can join."
That's why 15-year old Michael Becker of Blanchardville joined the social networking site Facebook about a year ago.
But that fun he thought he was going to have has turned into frustration.
" Be careful what you do on there. Some pretty crazy things can happen to you."
Last week the high school freshman says someone took over his account!
They posted sexually explicit photos on his page, harassed his friends online and tried to set up a telephone account using his name.
Becker says, " I felt really embarrassed. I felt...I was mad."
He's not alone.
It's called Hijacking and it's happening to more people.
" Somebody else gets on your Facebook account, posts on your friends wall's, basically scans your computer for phone numbers, passwords, bank account information that kind of stuff. "
Nick Donegan says if you want to avoid being a victim you should invest in an anti virus program with anti-phishing software.
That's something Michael's mother Lisa didn't have until recently.
But she doesn't think that's any excuse.
She says, " Watch your kids. Make sure the security settings are there. "
She says they've contacted the website and the only thing they can do now is wait.
According to Becker the Hijacked Facebook page is still up.
His mother Lisa has contacted the Iowa County Sheriff's Department along with the website about the problem.
She's hoping there is some type of resolution soon.

Let us know how he ended up cancelling his account. I know alot of people that have these and is something happens to them, the information would be easier to help others out.
The internet is going to get this world in a lot of trouble. People are going to find ways to mess up a whole lot of things. People just don't have care for anything and think its all theirs.
Thats exactly what an anti phishing filter does....Blocks bogus "fake" websites that are "fishing" your computer for information....and if that site has a virus and you click on the download link hopefully a good antivirus will catch that. Being smart is just the first standard. If you really don't know much about computers i suggest reading a book before buying one these days!
