A defense attorney says the Fond du Lac man accused in a fatal assault had a disagreement with the victim over a woman.
Travis Seaton is being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail on $100,000 cash bond. He charged with reckless homicide in the death of 53-year-old Keith Rockweit.
Seaton is accused of punching Rockweit in the face, causing him to fall back and hit his head on the pavement. He died of brain injuries later last Wednesday.
Seaton's attorney, Gerald Boyle, says the confrontation between the two men apparently started over Seaton "being with the other man's girlfriend."
Investigators also say they found a bloody shirt stuck in Seaton's pants pocket when they arrested him.
Seaton is scheduled back in court December 29th.
