Release from Dane County Sheriff's Office:

Madison, WI, June 13, 2009 – On Saturday, June 13, at approximately 1:23 am, Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an initial report of a man yelling for help near 277 W. Main St., in the Village of Cambridge. While en-route to this location, deputies were advised that a male subject had gotten his foot stuck under his motorcycle, after it had tipped over.

The male subject, who was uninjured, was able to ride his motorcycle and leave this location prior to deputies arriving on scene. However, responding deputies located the motorcyclist traveling westbound on State Highway 12/18 and initiated a traffic stop.

Sloan W. Brown, age 46, of Madison, was arrested on his 6th Offense OWI charge, which is a felony. Brown is currently being held in the Dane County Jail on the OWI charge and on a probation hold.

In addition to Brown’s arrest, Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies cited three other drivers for operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated between late Friday night and early Saturday morning.
