UPDATE: Death Investigation Underway in Madison After Body Discovered

UPDATED Monday, December 31, 2012 --- 5:37 p.m.

Madison Police tell us this appears to be a suicide.

An autopsy will be conducted on the body tomorrow to determine the official cause of death.

Madison Police are investigating after a body was found this morning.

Officers say a person was walking their dog when they discovered the body in the 2600 block of Gregory Street. That's at the Forest Hill Cemetery.

Police were called at 9:02 a.m.

At this time, officers are not releasing any other information.
