Madison Police say a local outdoorsman lost all of his bow hunting gear after a thief got into his pickup truck over the weekend.

The 34-year-old man's truck was parked outside of his home in the 1000 block of Moorland Rd.

The gear, estimated to be worth more than $3,200, was in the backseat.

The man believes he may have left the truck unlocked Saturday. He thinks the gear was taken that night.

A high-end hunting bow, a tree stand, range finder, binoculars, head lamp and other items were taken.
