It's something many look forward to all year. But for a few hundred special kids, anticipation for Wednesday night's "Rhythm and Booms" was even greater.
The Pyle Center invited patients from the American Family Children's Hospital to join in a special event at the UW-Extension Conference Centers.
The patients, along with their families, were given a spectacular view of the fireworks show.
And before the fireworks, they also got to enjoy plenty of food, games and live music, plus art and crafts and a stilt walker or two.
Parents say it was certainly a memorable experience for their kids, who might not otherwise have been able to attend the show,
If you weren't able to make it out to see tonight's "Rhythm and Booms," don't worry, there are plenty of other fireworks displays happening around our area, in the coming days.
