Single digit temperatures combined with the wind chill advisory make for life threatening conditions.

Within 30 minutes, frostbite, hypothermia, sometimes even death can occur in these conditions, so it's crucial you're taking the proper steps when headed outside,

Doctors advise you to stay indoors if at all possible, but if you must head outside, bundle up with layers of clothing and make sure the extremities of your body are covered-- your head, hands, and feet. Exposure to these areas are the most dangerous.

If you start feeling a tingling in your fingers, toes, or nose, seek medical attention.
