Press Release from the Beaver Dam Police Department:

At approximately 12:40 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2012, the Beaver Dam Police Department responded to an armed bank robbery at the Associated Bank located at 201 Park Ave. in the City of Beaver Dam.

The suspect in the incident is described as a white male, approximately 5'6”-5'7” and approximately 170 pounds. The suspect appeared to be unshaven today with a stubble beard and was wearing a dark colored jacket or fleece. This fleece has 2 horse designs on the front and 1 on the back with numerous horseshoes surrounding them. The suspect was also wearing blue jeans and primarily black tennis shoes.

The suspect fled on foot in a southerly direction from the bank. At the time of the robbery, the suspect produced what is described as a small black handgun from his right side and a plastic grocery style bag and ordered the clerk to produce money. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of currency.
