UPDATE: Madison Police Investigating Series of Muggings

Victim
20 year old female Madison resident

Details
The victim was walking when she observed the suspect vehicle slowly drive by her. As she continued walking, suspect #1 approached her and asked for the date and time. After the victim gave the suspect the information, she continued walking and then heard someone running behind her and reaching into her pockets. The victim briefly struggled with suspect #1 until suspect #2 helped by throwing the victim onto the ground and taking her cell phone. Both suspects were last seen running from the area. No injuries were reported by the victim and no weapon was seen or implied during the crime.

The Madison Police Department and Crime Stoppers need your help in identifying suspects in three Strong Armed Robberies.

Monday, February 18, at 9:40pm, the victim was walking in the 400 block of W. Dayton St and talking on her cell phone. A dark colored vehicle pulled up in front of her. The suspect got out of the passenger side of the vehicle, forcibly took her cell phone, got into back into the vehicle and left the scene.

The second incident occurred at 11:00pm. The victim was walking in the 1300 block of Milton Street when he noticed a dark colored vehicle slowly drive by and stop. Two suspects exited the vehicle. One suspect grabbed the victim while the other forcibly took the victims cell phone.

The third incident occurred at 11:23pm. The victim was walking in the 400 block of South Randall St. The victim walked past a dark colored vehicle. Two suspects got out of the vehicle and started to follow the victim. One suspect pushed the victim to the ground and the other suspect went through the victims backpack. A laptop was stolen.

On the 400 block of W. Dayton St, the victim was walking and talking on her cell phone when a dark colored vehicle pulled up in front of her. The suspect then got out of the vehicle, approached the victim, forcibly took her cell phone away from the victim, got into the passenger side of the vehicle and left the scene. The victim did not obtain injuries during this incident.

Details
The victim was walking on Milton St. when he noticed a dark colored vehicle slowly drive by and stop in front of him. Both suspects exited the vehicle with one suspect restraining the victim while the other suspect forcibly took the victims cell phone and another electronic item. The suspects were last seen getting back into the suspect vehicle and fleeing the scene. The victim did not receive any injuries during this incident.

Details
The victim was walking in the 400 block of S. Randall when he observed a dark colored vehicle parked on the side of the road. As the victim walked past the vehicle, the suspects got out of the vehicle and began to follow him. Once the suspects caught up to the victim, one suspect restrained the victim and threw him onto the ground while the other suspect took a laptop from the victim. Both suspects then ran back to their vehicle and left the area. No injuries were reported by the victim and it appears that all three calls from tonight were related to each other. No weapons were seen or mentioned in any of these cases.
