Suspect(s): #1 - M/B, 14-17 years-of-age, 5'08-5'09 height, 175-200lbs, with a white hoodie, black bookbag, and black pants.
#2 - M/B, 14-17 years-of-age, 5'08-5'09 height, 175-200lbs, with a black sweatshirt, and dark pants.
Arrested: Continuing Investigation
Victim: 14-year-old male of Madison
Details: On February 8th, 2012 at approximately 5:46pm, Madison Police Officers responded to West High School reference an attempted strong armed robbery and battery which occurred on school grounds. The 14-year-old victim had walked into the Ash Street side of West High School, wearing his iPod/ear buds at approximately 5:15pm, when he was approached from behind by a male subject wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and a black book bag. The victim described being grabbed initially by the suspect, and after refusing to relinquish his iPod, the suspect began punching him several times in the face.
The victim ended up in the fetal position on the floor of the school, and yelled for help. Security Officers came to the aid of the victim shortly after the two suspects ran out of the school, and the victim stated he had never seen either of the two suspects in the past. No significant injuries were sustained in this ordeal, but surveillance video has been obtained and is being reviewed for potential identification of the suspects in this matter.
