From the City of Beloit Police Department:

Beloit Police are investigating several incidents of suspect(s) entering vehicles with out permission to steal items from the vehicles that might be of value.

On 02/09 and 02/10 of 2012 after 1:00 a.m. several suspects entered vehicles parked in the 900,1000,and 1100 blocks of 8th St., Elm St, and Oak St. on the city's west side.

Suspects are using the alleyways to travel to and from vehicles.

Anyone having information regarding these crimes or any other crimes are asked to contact the Beloit Police Department.

Citizens are also asked to remove all valuable items from view when parking their vehicles.
