UPDATE: Fourth Arrest in Baraboo Drug Investigation

Release from Baraboo Police:

Subsequent to the drug search warrant conducted in the City of Baraboo at 215 7th Avenue, an additional arrest has been made in the case. Arrested was:

Jacob R. Wagner, 30 of Wisconsin Dells

WAGNER has been referred to the Sauk County District Attorney’s office on charges of Party to the crime of Manufacture/Delivery of Heroin and Possession of Heroin. Both charges are felonies.

Press Release from the Baraboo Police Department:

The Sauk County Drug Task Force, assisted by Portage and Marquette County Drug Task Force members, executed a search warrant in the City of Baraboo Wednesday (11-14-2012) afternoon. The investigation involved a large number of officers from multiple jurisdictions.

The warrant was executed at:
215 7th Avenue
Baraboo, WI 53913

As a result of the search, Drug Task Force members located heroin, marijuana and related drug paraphernalia.

Arrested/Charged as part of the investigation include:
-Bobby L. Kalista, 31 of Baraboo
-Dustin M. Kotula, 28 of Baraboo
-Michael P. Hein 22 of Portage

KALISTA and KOTULA have been referred to the Sauk County District Attorney’s office on charges of Manufacture/Delivery of Heroin and maintaining a drug house. Both charges are felonies.

HEIN was arrested for Possession of heroin. This charge is a felony as well.

This is an on-going investigation and additional charges are expected.

The investigation is continuing by the Sauk County Drug Task Force. The Sauk County Drug Task Force is comprised of officers from the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office, Baraboo Police Department, Sauk Prairie Police Department, Lake Delton Police Department, Reedsburg Police Department, LaValle Police Department, Plain Police Department and the Spring Green Police Department and Wisconsin State Patrol.
