Madison–Today, the Governor’s office announced the 2012 holiday tour schedule for the Executive Residence. Tours will provide guests with a view of the main rooms on the first floor and a brief description of the decorations, including six uniquely decorated Christmas trees.
2012 Holiday Tour Schedule
Wednesday, December 5: Noon until 2:00 p.m.
Thursday, December 6: Noon until 2:00 p.m.
Saturday, December 8: 10:00 a.m. until Noon
Wednesday, December 12: Noon until 2:00 p.m.
Thursday, December 13: Noon until 2:00 p.m.
Saturday, December 15: Noon until 2:00 p.m.
In the spirit of the season, Governor Scott Walker and First Lady Tonette Walker have partnered with Second Harvest Foodbank to help promote generosity and goodwill. With this in mind, we encourage all tour participants to bring non-perishable food items along with their holiday cheer. Items donated prior to the tour will go toward Second Harvest Foodbank, which works on behalf of food pantries, shelters, meal sites and other hunger-relief programs in 16 southwestern Wisconsin counties.
There is no charge for admission. Groups of 20 or more are required to make a reservation by calling 608-246-5501.
