FOX POINT, Wis. (AP) -- A Wisconsin fire chief says one person has been killed in a garage collapse in suburban Milwaukee.

Fox Point Police Chief Thomas Czaja said Wednesday that the department initially received a call that a person was trapped in a garage that collapsed at a home in the community north of Milwaukee. He told WISN-TV about 10 a.m. that the person had died.

Czaja says the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and district attorney's office have been called because firefighters believe the person was working on the garage when it fell.
