Fitchburg Man Arrested For 6th OWI

Information from the Dane County Sheriff:
At approximately 2:12 a.m. Saturday morning a Dane County Sheriff’s Office deputy observed an erratic driver crossing the center line northbound on County Highway N near the intersection of Koshkonong Road in the Town of Pleasant Springs. The deputy initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle, Jesse C. Jones, 34, of Fitchburg, refused field sobriety tests. However, he was subsequently arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence of an Intoxicant – 6th Offense. He was booked into the Dane County Jail on the felony OWI Charge.
