PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. (AP) -- An Illinois food manufacturer is moving its headquarters and some production to Kenosha County.
Good Foods Group bought a vacant building in the village of Pleasant Prairie and plans to relocate in the first quarter of 2013. The building had been listed for $3.8 million. The Chicago company makes pre-packaged, all natural food, including preservative-free dips and salads.
Village administrator Michael Pollocoff tells the Kenosha News the move will initially bring 70 jobs to the community, with plans to expand.
