Here is the latest Wisconsin news from The Associated Press:

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Concealed carry is taking hold in Wisconsin. As of Tuesday, the state Justice Department had received just shy of 45,000 permit applications. The agency has approved a little more than 13,000 applications and issued about 12,700 permits.

ASHLAND, Wis. (AP) -- Police in northern Wisconsin say a 22-year-old suicidal woman who sped away from officers eventually stopped and set herself on fire. Ashland police say they called off the chase Tuesday evening due to safety concerns before the woman set herself on fire. Police say officers responding to the SUV blaze doused the flames with snow.

DELAFIELD, Wis. (AP) -- A Pewaukee woman who died after causing a head-on collision this month had a blood-alcohol level nearly four and a half times the legal limit. That's the finding of the Waukesha County medical examiner's office about 44-year-old Dawn Ewing. Authorities say she was driving the wrong way on November 5th when she slammed into a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Brian St. Germaine of Watertown, killing both of them.

TOWN OF BRISTOL, Wis. (AP) -- Dane County authorities say a vandal or vandals have damaged nearly two dozen properties in the small town of Bristol. A local spokeswoman says at least 23 people reported thefts or property damage, including slashed tires, smashed lights and derogatory graffiti.
