CAMPBELLSPORT, Wis. (AP) -- Hundreds of people filled the gym at Campbellsport High School yesterday to remember three teenage girls who died in a car accident last weekend. The caskets of Katie Berg, Caitlin Scannell and Sabrina Stahl were surrounded by flowers. Six of their friends were also injured in the crash.
FOND DU LAC, Wis. (AP) -- A jury convicted a Fond du Lac man of physically abusing a 2-year-old girl and causing permanent brain damage. Jurors spent four hours deliberating before convicting 21-year-old Thomas Abitz Junior.
MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Thermo Fisher Scientific says it's laying off more than 40 workers in Milwaukee and moving the work to other locations around the globe. The company has about 1,200 employees in Wisconsin.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A new website by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation is aimed at helping businesses that want to relocate or expand in the state. LocateInWisconsin.com is aimed at helping company executives get information about commercial real estate, demographic breakdowns, community details as well as information on the region's workforce.
