A Christmas morning fire breaks out at a house in Cottage Grove.
It started around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday morning on the 4500-block of American Way.
A Dane County dispatcher says people in the neighborhood reported flames shooting through the roof and called 911. Firefighters were on scene for several hours.
Thankfully no one was inside the home at the time and no injuries were reported.
There's no word yet on the cause or damages.
