MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's report says a 1-month-old baby who was pronounced dead at Children's Hospital in Milwaukee may have been accidentally suffocated while in bed with her mother.
The infant girl was identified as Lilly Grundle.
The report says the baby died Feb. 4 after her mother was breastfeeding her in bed and fell asleep. It says when the father came home he discovered the child was unresponsive. The infant was resuscitated in the emergency room, but developed seizures and was later removed from life support.
