Information from the Rock County Sheriff's Department:
On Friday at 9:08 p.m., deputies from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Willowdale Saloon, located at 5905 W. STH 11 in Rock Township for a report of a vehicle doing “doughnuts” in the parking lot.
While en route, it was reported the male driver had exited the vehicle and was inside the bar, but the bartender refused to serve him.
On arrival, deputies made contact with several bar patrons outside who witnessed the incident, one of whom had reported damage to her vehicle as a result of gravel from the parking lot being thrown all over the hood and roof of the car.
During the course of the investigation, deputies located the suspect vehicle, a 1992 Dodge Ramcharger SUV parked in the lot. Deputies were able to identify the driver of the vehicle as Christopher M. Hartke, age 42, of Janesville. Hartke was asked to submit to Standardized Field Sobriety Testing and was subsequently arrested for 4th Offense Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated.
Hartke was transported to the Rock County Jail where he was also cited for Reckless Driving and Operating After Revocation. Hartke was held pending an initial appearance in jail court on 01/14/13 at 3 p.m.
