The Juneau Co. Sheriff's Department says 28-year-old Joshua Bader died from an accidental gunshot wound to his upper leg.
Deputies say Bader was out with friends on Friday. At some point after he returned to his residence, he was handling a .22 caliber handgun when the gun accidentally discharged, striking him in the upper left leg.
A short time later, Bader died from his injury.
He was found Sunday morning.
While deputies are still investigating, they say there is no indication that the shooting was not accidental.

A trailer in Juneau Co. remains tapped off more than 24 hours after a man was found dead inside.
An active death investigation is underway by the Juneau Co. Sheriff's Office, Mauston Police Department, the State Crime Lab and the Department of Justice's Division of Criminal Investigation
A 28-year-old man was found dead Sunday at 11:30 a.m.
Neighbors say he was shot, but authorities have not confirmed what happened.
Neighbors describe the man as a nice guy that kept to himself.

Authorities are investigating the death of a 28-year-old man in Juneau Co.
The Sheriff's Office received a report of a deceased man at his home in Lemonweir Township Sunday morning.
No other details have been released at this time, but the incident remains under investigation.
