Wednesday was a popular day for weddings as many happy couples tied the knot on 12-12-2012.
The repeating 12s caused many to join in holy matrimony. Six couples got hitched inside the Dells Bells wedding chapel in Wisconsin Dells late Wednesday afternoon.
Karen and Bruce Towsend were among the couples getting married Wednesday, they originally planned to tie the knot in October but quickly changed their minds once they noticed Wednesday's date.
“What more memorable date than that, plus it would've been hard to wait till October to marry her,”said Bruce Towsend.
Inside the Orpheum on State Street, a Mardi Gras themed wedding planned by a Madison couple, who say one of the reasons they chose the date is to make sure they never forget their wedding anniversary.
