Loose Pit Bull Bites Man

From Public Health Department Madison & Dane County:

The Department of Public Health is looking for information regarding a dog that bit a man on 1/8/13.

This incident occurred around 12:00 p.m. near Wiggies bar on the 1900 block of Aberg Avenue in Madison.

The dog was running loose and bit the man when he approached it.

The dog is described as a brown pit bull with white markings on its chest.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Police and Fire dispatcher at 255-2345 and ask for the animal services officer.

If the animal is not located, the victim may be required to complete a series of painful and costly injections to prevent rabies.
