Madison Teen Arrested for Attacking Another Student

Incident Type: Battery

Incident Date: 11/19/2012 - 10:34 AM

Address: West High School (30 Ash St.)

Arrested: Female, age 16, Madison
Suspect was taken to the Juvenile Reception Center on a tentative charge of Substantial Battery.

Victim: Female, age 15

Details: A 16-year old West High student was arrested, inside the school, for substantial battery this morning after attacking another student with a bicycle part. The victim was hit several times in the head with a bike peg, which is a 5-inch hollow tube.

She was taken to a hospital where she needed several staples to close a wound. The suspect is angry with the victim because she believes the 15-year old recently stole her iPhone.
