NEW BERLIN, Wis. (AP) -- New Berlin police say a medical condition may have caused a driver to lose control of his car and crash into another vehicle, killing three people.
Investigators say drugs or alcohol are not suspected to have played a role in the crash Sunday about 10 a.m. Thomas and Catherine Wagner, both 49 and of New Berlin, and 54-year-old Patricia White, of Milwaukee, were pronounced dead at the scene. Thomas Wagner's brother, 52-year-old William Wagner, of New Berlin, was injured and taken to a nearby hospital. White is the sister of Thomas and William Wagner.
New Berlin Officer Daniel Hanlon said Monday the victims were waiting at a stop sign when their car was struck by a 36-year-old New Berlin man who may have had a medical problem. He was alone in his vehicle.
