Milwaukee Police Department officials say they've located the mother of the young boy left with a neighborhood family.
A Milwaukee Police official emailed our news partner WITI in Milwaukee late last night saying, "After viewing a newscast that broadcast a photo of the baby, concerned family members found her and took her to a police station at approximately 11:00 p.m. The 25-year-old woman is in custody and awaiting an interview by investigators. Because of the sensitive nature of incidents involving children, I will not be able to answer questions or provide any further information tonight regarding this case."
