A local family needs your help to save a young girl's life.

On Saturday Village Lanes Bowling Alley in Monona is hosting a day-long fundraiser for 2-year-old Olivia Diaz.

Diaz was diagnosed about a year ago with a rare and possibly deadly childhood cancer. After five surgeries, months of chemotherapy, and more than 100 blood transfusions, her family needs help to pay their medical expenses.

The Monona fundraiser will include a raffle, silent auction, bake sale, and live entertainment. The Red Cross will also be there between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. if you'd like to donate blood.

The entire event runs from 9:30 a.m. until the alley closes tonight. That's expected to happen sometime around midnight. For more information click here
