Neighbor Notices Burglary In Action; Suspect Now In Custody

1011 Fahrenbrook Ct

Arrested:
Jai D Patterson, 26, Madison, charged with Burglary, Possession of Heroin, Felony Bail Jumping and a Warrant-Causing Injury while OWI.

Details:
Neighbor observed suspect entering an apartment and removing a backpack.

Residents were asleep in apartment at this time.

K-9 track conducted and as track was closing in on the suspect location, an MPD Sergeant observed the suspect attempting to leave the area in a vehicle.

Traffic stop conducted and suspect taken into custody.

    Way to go MPD and the sergeant who noticed the vehicle!!! Your department never gets enough credit for all that you do and crimes you do solve! People only focus on the bad and never the good you guys do. Thank you for all that you do!
