From the Fitchburg Police Department:

On December 22, 2012, at approximately 1:45am, the City of Fitchburg Police Department responded to the 5100 block of Anton Dr. for a robbery of a pizza delivery driver.

According to the victim delivery driver, he had entered an apartment building to deliver the pizzas to a specific apartment. As he attempted to ring the apartment, the three suspects approached him from the rear. The suspects engaged in a brief casual conversation with the delivery driver, before one of the suspects struck the victim in the upper torso and side of the head. The three suspects then made off with the two pizzas, one sausage and one pepperoni, and a two-liter bottle of cola.

The three suspects fled the scene to the south. A K-9 track was attempted, however was unsuccessful. The three suspects were described as black males wearing dark clothing, ranging in ages between 15 and 17 years old.

It's really not funny. These drivers make crappy money, get crappy tips and usually work for crappy people and then on top of paying for their own gas and car maintenance they get robbed by jerks who can't even afford a pizza? So now what, you think his boss care if he's been traumatized? I hope the crooks choked on that pizza and if not that their mommies are proud of these men they raised...what are children doing running around after 1:00am. what a world and such people in it...

I hope they find the buggers...and make them work as pizza delivery persons for a year for free. Tho I don't think I'd want to have them deliver my pizza, so never mind.

I have been in some crummy apartments and even they don't let you in without being buzzed in. Am I over looking or over thinking something? Shouldn't this be an easy case to solve, like shouldn't the story be 'local cops loose suspects in apartment building'.
