Riders sounded-off to Madison Metro at a public hearing Wednesday night.

Agencies across the city were asked to make a 5% cut in their budget, and Madison Metro was no exception.

Administrators say to make up for that $680,000 cut, they need to raise prices.

“It is just too expensive," said Suzann Wahl, who relies primarily on buses as her means of transportation. Wahl says the new proposed fares could make it harder for her to get around.

“It's not equal towards the disabled, its too high,” said Wahl.
