Madison Police are searching for a man who threatened to shoot and kill a couple on the North side with a handgun.
Police are withholding the name of a man who they say issued the threat Friday afternoon outside apartments on Trailsway, adjacent to Warner Park. Children ages 5 and 7 were nearby.
Police are investigating the man's current address, but are not sure what type of gun or car he may have.
When the couple alerted the police, they brought dogs and assault rifles to search for the suspect, without luck. The suspect and those he threatened know each other.
